HOW CAN WE HELP?

Life, Health & Foods Ministry’s mission is supported by like-minded friends. The donations we receive, along with the money made from our operations, goes to support bible and book distribution ministry, visitation to homes of the poor sick and suffering, community health talks and helping Seventh-Day Adventist Medical Missionaries, along with covering our own administrative expenses.

HEALTH SEMINARS

Life, Health & Foods Ministries offer health education, vegetarian cooking classes, bible study guides and literature evangelism to individuals, schools, organizations, churches and communities upon request. These sessions are available Mondays to Thursdays and Sundays during the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special arrangements can be made for any presentation request outside of these hours. These seminars are tailored to each individual request and may have varying information for the restoration of healthy spiritual and physical lifestyle. Such programmes may include information on disease prevention, biblical perspective on the causes of disease, natural/ herbal remedies, nutrition, toxicity and the need for detoxification, proper menu planning and vegetarian cooking classes. These sessions are informative and it is our goal for participants to leave feeling encouraged to lead a healthy lifestyle – both spiritual and physical. Debra Williams has been doing these seminars since June 2012 and now in 2015 she joins with other Medical Missionaries to offer these sessions to you on a much wider scale.

NUTRITION CONSULTATION AND COACHIN

Coaching sessions are done on a one-on-one basis with an individual or if requested, with two or more persons. These sessions are sometimes necessary where someone wants to make necessary healthy lifestyle changes but do not believe they can do it on their own. It is always recommended that a certified medical professional make the diagnosis so that the proper natural remedies can be used, allowing the treatment given to be more effective. One of our trained Medical Missionary will coach interested persons through the changes. Coaching sessions can take an hour or two and are done weekly. The sessions usually last for one to a few weeks depending on the individual. Follow up sessions can be done via email, Skype or the telephone.

BIBLE STUDIES

Do you want to know the Bible more? Do you have Bible questions that you need answered? Bible studies are the source of power, strength, direction and heartbeat of Life, Health & Foods Ministries. There are individual or group study sessions, highlighting the three angel's messages and the end time events with the focus on building a closer relationship with God and preparing for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Bible Studies can be done from any of the ‘RECOMMENDED SITES’ given on our website, or if you need a personal study, this can be arranged. You can email your request to us.

PRAY MINISTRY

We have a very active prayer ministry and invite you to call or email in your prayer request. Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend. “We have come to serious times on this earth. Events in our world call upon every follower of Christ to be totally in earnest in our relationship with God. To strengthen this relationship and satisfy our emotional and spiritual needs, we must learn the power of prayer. We must plead with the Lord, like the disciples of old, saying, “Lord, teach us to pray”……allow us to pray with and for you!

COOKING CLASSES

Cooking classes are done upon requests and can be done for individuals or groups. We can do lunch-hour demonstrations on how to make quick and easy vegetarian meals or we can do full seminar sessions on meal preparation, breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas for the busy mom and dad. We can also email you recipes on a weekly basis and you can find many health recipes under the ‘RECIPES’ tab on our website – new recipes are added monthly!. We feature easy and healthy recipes that are simple, low cost and very nutritious. Our demonstrations show how these dishes are prepared and participants have the opportunity to taste the finished product.
